Senior Android Developer (5-8 Years)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3-5 Years of hands-on experience

in Android development with a proven track record of developing and deploying apps to the Google Play Store. Proficiency in

Kotlin

and

Java

for Android development. Strong knowledge of

Android SDK

, Android components (Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers), and Android frameworks. Experience with

RESTful APIs

and integration of third-party libraries. Solid understanding of

MVVM

architecture patterns and experience working with architecture components like LiveData, ViewModels, and Room. Experience with Android development tools like

Android Studio

, and

JIRA

etc. Familiarity with

Firebase

services (e.g., Maps, FCM) is a plus. Experience with

RoomDB

/

SQLite

or other local databases. Strong understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques and best practices. Knowledge of

Google Play Console

for app release, monitoring, and updates. Familiarity with

version control systems

(e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Having Experience in creating dynamic or server driven components/UI will be plus point. Having experience in Jetpack compose will be plus point.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Android applications

using Kotlin and Java, following best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to create user-friendly, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality. Handle app debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization to improve app performance and stability. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide technical input to improve the user experience. Implement unit testing and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of the application. Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and mobile technologies. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
