Job Purpose
The Senior Analyst, Transfer Pricing will work closely with the Senior Tax Manager and team on transfer pricing compliance, reporting, and process automation for Palo Alto Networks globally. Your team
The International Tax team at PANW is a tight knit group working to set up tax processes, frameworks and systems to help the business ride the next wave of rapid growth. We focus on ensuring compliance across geographies are taken care of, reporting standards are met and we can plan for audits and attain intended tax outcomes. We are a fun group, excited about the next growth phase and helping business teams in all possible ways, keeping the company and management abreast of what we find and can plan for to inform decisions. Our team spreads across the US, Netherlands, UK and India. This role is based in Bangalore, working alongside an increasing team of Tax and Finance in India, with exposure to the activity of the sales, marketing, and development organizations. Your Position:
Our Transfer Pricing Team supports the Transfer Pricing documentation compliance and planning globally, in addition to many other functions. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, organizational and time management skills, and must be able to work independently with a strong self-discipline and accountability. Use tools like SAP, SQL, Power BI, other advanced tools to optimize the time and effort of professionals to act on tax relevant information and insights
Conduct searches, using BvD transfer pricing software (TP Catalyst), for comparable transactions and/or companies to assist with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, audit defense, and planning
Gather and analyze transfer pricing data; prepare and update transfer pricing documentation and other compliance documents, flings, and comply with requests from external financial and tax authority auditors
Prepare for and participate in functional interviews, complete documentation and analysis
Compile Transfer Pricing documentation per country specific regulations
Assist to maintain and manage a Transfer Pricing global compliance calendar
Assist in the design and implementation of transfer pricing policies, including a technical “deep-dives” based on gaining a deep understanding of our business and its data
Partner with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, treasury, accounting, etc.) to support the business needs; and additionally with external advisors on transfer pricing projects
Perform industry, company, and other transfer pricing research as needed
Analyze and prepare responses on transfer pricing topics in the course of local country tax audits. and provide support with APA filings, or other restructuring. Review intercompany agreements
Research income tax issues related to transfer pricing, prepare technical documentation and assist on special transfer pricing projects, as needed.

Qualifications
Your Experience:
4-5 years of transfer pricing experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience.
Degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Exposure to US and international tax, transfer pricing principles.
Coordinated projects, worked with minimal supervision, produced high quality work products in dynamic environments and planned for discussions.
Strong experience with technology for research, computations, and documentation. Experience with Alteryx, BvD TP Catalyst, Bloomberg a plus.
Developing strong oral and written communication skills; effectively able to interact across functions internally and able to work with external advisors to explain transfer pricing facts concepts and related business facts,
Proven high degree of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
