About The Job:

  • The Principal, Continuous Improvement (CI) is responsible for identifying and executing process improvement initiatives across multiple Magnit functions.
  • The Principal, CI will analyze existing business processes by applying Six Sigma process optimization techniques.
  • Using these techniques, the Principal, CI will drive efficiency and productivity improvement projects on an ongoing basis for the organization.
  • The Specialist will work with complex data to redesign, reconstruct and monitor processes to ensure they are effective.
  • The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of automation techniques, concepts and use cases with a heavy focus on RPA.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Collaborate with functional teams to identify, analyze, and prioritize business process automation opportunities aimed at improving productivity and operational efficiency using tools such as Python, Power Automate, Power Query, and Power BI or relevant tools
  • Identify and resolve process bottlenecks by implementing efficient design strategies
  • Design targeted process improvement initiatives and define measurable performance outcomes
  • Independently lead discovery sessions; identify scope, requirements and business implications
  • Deploy Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, six sigma and other process excellence tools) to identify areas with efficiency opportunities
  • Leverage Python and VBA to automate data extraction, reporting transformation, and analysis to support business case automation / development for process automation
  • Design and implement automation workflows using Power Automate, Power Query, VBA, and other low-code/no-code platforms to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Align strategically with functional leaders and drive execution of efficiency initiatives within the functional teams
  • Identify RPA use cases for stabilized processes and align with functional leadership to document the business case for RPA solutions
  • Build a repository of process improvement initiatives and maintain detailed documentation of functional resource interviews, SOP documents and process flows
  • Manage and maintain project progress and design documentation through a case management system
  • Serve as a liaison between functional teams and automation vendors to implement RPA solutions
  • Help implement process improvements by creating business requirements documents, assisting with user testing/training, and coordinating roll out activities
  • Balance multiple, concurrently running projects, often with large business impacts
Qualifications:
Must Have: Experience: 4-5 yrs
  • Background: continuous improvement process
  • Lean six sigma certification mandate (both roles)
  • RPA tools exp: Exposure to RPA (Automation Anywhere / UiPath / Blue Prism) & worked on RPA life
  • VBA Macros (must)
  • Knowledge on Python
  • Working on continuous improvement in process, Should have worked on automation process, ROI Generation
  • Working with internal stakeholders
Minimum
  • 3-5 years of proven business process engineering/continuous improvement experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
  • Strong data analysis skills and understanding of the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical techniques
  • Experience with the business process engineering project life cycle from the initial conceptual design stage through system testing and rollout
  • Familiarity with Process Improvement Methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Process Reengineering) -application & execution capabilities, ideally in Shared service environment or ITeS sector
  • Proven ability to achieve breakthrough results via improvement tools and techniques
  • High energy, positive mindset, leads by "Go and Do" & "Go and See" philosophy
  • Experience with one or more RPA technologies (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & statistical analysis tools like Minitab
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate complex ideas with all levels of management and staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize inconsistencies
  • Ability to take ideas from inception to delivery in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
  • Bachelor's/Graduate degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt & Lean Practitioner
  • Exposure to RPA (Automation Anywhere / UiPath / Blue Prism) & worked on RPA life cycle project
  • Project management degree/diploma/certification would be an advantage
  • Experience navigating software test environments, including test case creation and execution
  • Intermediate to Advanced Python skills, including experience with data manipulation, process automation, and API integrations.
  • Intermediate to Advance knowledge of Python libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) for automating business processes / generating reports.
  • Ability to write and maintain Python scripts for automating repetitive tasks and ensuring process efficiency.
  • Experience integrating solutions with Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Query or similar tools.
