Position Title:
Sr. Analyst - IT Global Web/Ecommerce
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for serving as a technical expert of Web/Ecommerce systems for design, development, implementation, deployment and support for e-Commerce platform.
This role requires an individual to proactively improve and enhance our eCommerce Platform. Our eCommerce Platforms is built leveraging Magento eCommerce, it's user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Magento Analyst must be hands on all capabilities of Platform development & customizations. He should enjoy all aspects of ensuring a stable eCommerce Platform supporting user management, data integrity, transactions, support tickets, training, and designing solutions ensuring customer satisfaction as per business need. We are looking for someone with a strong expertise in Magento 2.x eCommerce platform. and strong desire to keep learning. He/She must have decent communication skills and be comfortable liaising with global stakeholders and enjoy learning new business processes in order to translate them into technical solutions.

Key Tasks and Deliverables:

• Serve as senior technical team member to execute required Web, e-Commerce and CRM projects to drive and develop key milestones and deliverables ensuring projects are well managed, communicated and completed properly
• Proactively identify and propose business process changes, enhancements or new technology to further differentiate the systems and services we provide to our stakeholders and/or our stakeholders provide to customers/users/employees
• Build technical solutions to business problems/opportunities
• Developing custom Magento modules, templates in PHP using best practices, troubleshooting & fixing system integration/data issues
• Collaborate and lead on Magento/PHP Dev core activities
• Manage timelines and expectations by effectively prioritizing tasks
• Well versed with the SDLC, Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and understanding of project quality (Coding/Functional)
• Sound Logics and Excellent problem-solving skills
• Perform hands on development and technical design as required.
• Train and develop personnel to attain and maintain technical proficiency and competency-based skills.

Additional Details:
Minimum Qualifications

• 5-8 years of IT experience and 3+ years of development experience in multiple E-commerce projects in Magento 1.x and 2.x
• Custom Module development in Magento 1.x and Magento 2.x, build custom extensions
• Strong experience in web technologies like PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of Linux / Ubuntu and MySQL, Magento system performance analysis & optimization
• Experience working in REST APIs, system integrations
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and framework
• Good to have - knowledge of Azure Dev-Ops, Azure Cloud Services
• In depth knowledge Digital concepts, strategies and systems.
• Strong English Communication Skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated ability to understand business processes from customer perspective and accordingly conceptualize and formulate solutions.
• Familiar with full-life cycle (SDLC) development and formal change management methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
• Experience in off/on shore model as well as working with Virtual teams.
• Results oriented and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of technical architecture/development of Web/Salesforce/e-Commerce and related transactional systems
• Exposure to SAP ECC functionality as well as technical understanding of interfacing with BAPI/REST and other integration methods.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering or related field or equivalent is required.
