JD for Sr. Advanced Project Engineer
The Sr. Project Engineer will be responsible for the System activities for their assigned scope in the Engine/APU product line.
Develop System Architecture, Control methods, System Simulation, Hardware and Software Architecture, Hardware requirements, design, development, and verification activities.
The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating all milestone reviews for equipment developed within the work package.
The Project Engineer is responsible for all data deliverables within his/her work package, and that all required functional groups (including Quality & Configuration Management).
The Project Engineer will co-ordinate all engineering technical interfaces and will be the point of contact for technical discussions.
As the responsible technical leader, he/she will monitor the progress of all engineering tasks, keeping the Engineering IPT Lead, and program management informed.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of a program budget within the framework of the work breakdown structure (WBS) and funding allocation with Program Planning & Control (PP&C) analyst.
Continuous monitoring of program costs, identification and resolution of all program areas related to cost performance, surveillance of work performed to date versus actual cost to date, reporting of program cost information to the program manager.
He/she will coordinate the Program Change Control Board and ensure that the Program Baseline is updated with all approved changes.
Project Engineering will drive the schedule & resource status with the help of PP&C. Ensure MAT and HMR updated.
Contribute to HTS product strategies, technology roadmaps and improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Work with Offering Management team and Chiefs to conceptualize the solutions and drive TRL (technology readiness level 6) for new technology.
Conduct integrated product development system (IPDS) meeting across all stake holders and represent HTS in the program IPDS/Drive Agile program.
