Requirements for the Advanced Mech Design Engineer for Engine Systems and Components Analyses in Engines and Power Systems are the following:


Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering form a reputed institute with 8-10 years of experience. Deep domain expertise in Aero Gas Turbine Engines (GTE) & APU product lines. Prior work experience in design and development of fan and impeller containment is preferred. Strong fundamentals in Solid Mechanics, Vibrations, explicit dynamics & containment Analysis concepts. Demonstrated expertise in strength, vibration, fatigue & containment analysis of Aero GTE & APU systems, sub-systems & components. Proficiency in linear, non-linear stress and containment analysis using ANSYS WB, HYPERMESH & LS DYNA. Should be able to work independently, develop analysis methods and drive design improvements. Should be good at problem solving, mentoring the project teams, ensuring flawless execution, talent development and multi-tasking. Should be a team player with good interpersonal & networking skills. Strong communication, interpersonal & articulation skills Good at customer centric innovation & growth Ability to drive co-innovation and co-creation with industry, academia, and start-up ecosystem. Agile mindset with focus on speed and cycle time improvement initiatives Continuous improvement culture with challenge the status quo mindset
