Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager - Finance - Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a candidate for the position of "Assistant Manager - Finance" to undertake and assist in the day to day accounting, Month close, financial reporting, Audit, cost control and development of internal control policies and procedures.

:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.

Support month-end, year-end close process in co ordination with the units controllers.

Preparation of monthly/Quarterly/Yearly financial statements and MIS reports.

Should have exposure in handling the Statutory Audit and Tax Audit independently.

Exposure in the preparation of financials under Ind AS is mandatory.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control systems.

Research technical accounting issues for better compliance

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Collaborate closely with the different units to understand expectations and deliverable timelines and ensure that deliverables are met on time.

Develop the team to take ownership and work independently, and effectively manage timelines.

Manage resources to assist with ad-hoc reports and new processes to support the management team.

Should be highly proficient in managing closing of books of accounts under tight deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications

Qualification(s)

Should have completed CA inter and appeared for CA final exams.

Experience

3-4 years of progressive corporate experience is required after the article ship. Experience in hospitality sector would be an added advantage.

Should have managed a team of 3-5 peoples.
