Key Responsibilities
Maintain complete books of accounts including general ledger, cash, bank, and journal entries
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle hotel-specific accounting such as room revenue, F&B revenue, banquet income, and other operating income
Monitor daily revenue reports, night audit reports, and reconcile discrepancies
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and guest billing reconciliations
Control costs related to food, beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and operations
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Ensure timely statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other local regulations
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Supervise junior accounts staff and review their work for accuracy
Support management with MIS reports and financial insights
