Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage and oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, Indian tax laws, financial reporting, and hands-on experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS / Indian GAAP) Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Liaise with internal departments and external auditors for audits and financial reviews Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff Coordinate with tax consultants and ensure timely filing of income tax returns Manage fixed asset register and depreciation schedules Support the finance manager in preparing MIS reports and other financial documents

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com) CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred (not mandatory) 5-6 years of hands-on accounting experience Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax Proficient in Tally or other ERP/accounting software. Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:

3.6 LPA to 6 LPA

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
