Your efforts make a real difference in the world of education.We are currently seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Noida, India. This key role requires strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, as you will be responsible for financial accounting tasks including month-end procedures, journal entries, reconciliations, analytical reviews, and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP. The Senior Accountant will work closely with internal teams, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and transparency in financialreporting.How can you make an impact:

  • Lead and assist with the month-end close process for the component, ensuring that all accounting entries are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheets in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure that financial transactions are appropriately
  • recorded.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, corporate policies, and internal control procedures and monitor adherence to internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Assist with external audits, providing documentation and financial reports as requested.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior management.
What youll need to be successful:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or similar role.
  • Big 4 audit firm experience and involvement in European/US public company audits Familiarity with the month-end close process and financial reporting under US GAAP.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and month-end processes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in US hours until at least noon/1 PM EST.
Tools/Systems:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and MS Office.
