Maintain and update the general ledger, track daily transactions, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Financial reporting:
Prepare accurate financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flow) and other reports as needed.
Analysis and strategy:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and suggest ways to improve profits and reduce costs.
Budgeting and forecasting:
Develop and review annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts.
Tax compliance:
Ensure compliance with tax laws, prepare tax returns, and provide analysis and recommendations for tax liabilities.
Auditing:
Conduct internal audits, reconcile accounts, and resolve any discrepancies.
Compliance and control:
Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
