The Senior Accountant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role involves managing a team of accountants and working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the accounting team including Accountants, Accounts Assistants, and Executives.
Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
Monitor cash flow, fund flow, and banking operations.
Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings.
Handle audits - internal, statutory, and tax.
Develop and implement accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
Analyze financial data to support business decision-making.
Review and authorize payments, reimbursements, and vendor invoices.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
