Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Control
Lead end-to-end accounting, finance, and financial reporting functions
Establish strong financial controls and governance frameworks
Monitor company-wide and project-wise profitability and cash flows
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Statutory, Taxation & Legal Compliance
Ensure full compliance with:
Income Tax, GST, TDS
Labour laws and statutory obligations
Companies Act / LLP / Proprietorship regulations (as applicable)
Lead statutory audits, tax audits, and assessments
Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and legal consultants
Oversee contracts, agreements, guarantees, and compliance documentation
Banking, Funding & Financial Strategy
Manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
Prepare and present:
Funding proposals
Cash-flow projections
Financial models and MIS reports
Handle working capital facilities including:
OD / CC limits
Bank Guarantees
Letters of Credit
Support fundraising initiatives and credit enhancement efforts
Strengthen company credit profile and financial credibility
Governance, MIS & Management Reporting
Provide structured financial dashboards to management covering:
Cash flow position
Budget vs actual analysis
Project-wise margins
Risk and exposure analysis
Support management with financial insights for strategic decisions
Full authority over accounting, compliance, and financial reporting
Responsible for financial integrity, transparency, and regulatory adherence
Funding decisions and major financial commitments subject to management approval
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Cash-flow stability and working capital efficiency
Zero non-compliance and statutory penalties
Timely financial closures and audits
Success in securing and managing funding facilities
Improvement in company financial governance and bankability
Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
10-15+ years of post-qualification experience
, preferably in:
Construction
Infrastructure
EPC / contracting organizations
Strong hands-on experience in:
Project-based accounting
GST, direct taxation, and statutory compliance
Banking, funding, and lender coordination
Prior exposure to multi-project environments and working capital-intensive businesses preferred

Confident in dealing with banks, auditors, and regulators
