Job Description

The Senior Accountant will handle the financial management and accounting operations of the builder company. This includes managing project-wise accounts, vendor and client payments, statutory compliances, financial reporting, and ensuring smooth fund flow for construction projects. The role requires strong knowledge of real estate accounting practices, RERA compliance, and taxation related to the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including project-based accounting, vendor bills, and client receipts.

Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Handle GST, TDS, RERA compliances, and coordinate with statutory authorities.

Prepare and analyze project-wise MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial reports for management.

Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers regularly.

Monitor fund utilization for ongoing projects and ensure timely payments to contractors, suppliers, and vendors.

Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for construction projects.

Liaise with banks for project loans, overdraft facilities, and other financial arrangements.

Coordinate with internal/external auditors and ensure smooth audit processes.

Supervise and guide junior accountants and ensure timely closure of accounts.

Provide management with insights on financial health, cost saving opportunities, and profitability analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in the real estate / construction industry.

Strong knowledge of RERA, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other real estate-related compliances.

Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: ?45,000.00 - ?65,000.00 per month
