Maintain and oversee daily accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and inventory accounting.
Supervise proper recording of furniture sales, purchases, job work, subcontracting, and service entries.
2. Costing & Inventory Control
Track raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
Implement cost control systems for wood, hardware, upholstery, and other materials.
Conduct variance analysis between standard cost and actual cost.
Monitor wastage, material consumption, and production cost efficiency.
3. Compliance & Taxation
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
File monthly/quarterly returns and handle tax assessments.
4. Budgeting & MIS Reporting
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Provide management with MIS reports on sales, production costs, and profitability.
Analyze business performance and recommend improvements.
5. Team Leadership
Supervise and guide junior accountants/accounts staff.
Train the team in accounting software -Tally
Ensure timely closing of accounts and report submission.
