We manufacture, sell, install and finance our patented biodigester systems for small and medium scale farmers to convert their waste into economic, health and environmental benefits.

With a team of about 500 people worldwide, we have reached tens of thousands of farms in 30 countries with clean energy & fertilizer, and we are growing fast. We are on a mission to reduce 1% of global GHG emissions and transform food systems!

By the end of 2025, our goal is to have installed biodigesters for a million people with our technology where they lack access to clean, renewable, and cost-effective energy.

Your mission at Sistema.bio

Reporting to the Vice President- F&A, the Sr. Accountant will be responsible to manage day-to-day accounting and look after the finalization within given timelines.

You'll be in charge of:

Ensure Day to Day Accounting in proper & Timely manner Ensure to work on Improvement in Team Efficiency by doing Internal Audit Finalization / Statutory Audit Monthly MIS Project Budgets Preparation, tracking actual spent Vs Budgeted Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist in all taxation like GST, TDS and any other taxation Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and follow up to ensure timely receipts. Supporting the people team with any hiring in the department and external finance audits.

More about YOU:

Education:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce (B. Com / M. Com)

Key Experiences & Skills:

8-10 years of experience in a Managerial capacity within the accounts or finance function Proven experience in team handling and monitoring team performance Strong in ledger scrutiny and finalization of accounts Exposure to accounting automation tools and processes Experience working with SAP Business One (SAP B1) preferred Hands-on experience in Monthly Financial Reporting, Cash Flow Management, Internal Audit & Scrutiny, Finalization of Accounts and Statutory Audit Coordination, etc.
