1. Educational Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or Finance
Preferred: CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)
Training in school accounting software (e.g., Fedena, Entab, EduERP, or similar) is an added advantage.
2. Experience
3-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an educational institution or similar non-profit setup.
Hands-on experience in fee management systems and school financial processes.
3. Technical Skills
Proficiency in:
Tally ERP / Tally Prime
School ERP systems (fee collection, student ledger, staff payroll)
MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, MIS Reports)
Strong understanding of:
Accounts Receivable (especially student fee collection & reconciliation)
Accounts Payable
Payroll processing (teacher & staff salaries)
Budget management for school departments
Statutory compliance: GST, TDS, PF, ESI
Bank reconciliation
Audit support and documentation
4. Key Responsibilities
Manage student fee accounting, reconcile fee collections with ERP & bank statements
Handle petty cash, vendor payments, procurement records
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L)
Maintain staff payroll, salary statements, and statutory deductions
Monitor department-wise budgets (transport, hostel, lab, library, etc.)
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and coordinate with auditors
Maintain proper financial records for statutory, internal & external audits
Support school management with MIS reports, cash flow statements, and budget planning
Assist during fee planning, annual budgeting, and school events financial management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
