The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and policies. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with
SAP (FI/CO modules)
and strong analytical and organizational skills. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and process improvements within the SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions in
SAP
.
Prepare and review
journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
.
Perform
month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
activities in accordance with company deadlines.
Generate and analyze
financial reports from SAP
to support management decision-making.
Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of SAP financial modules (FI/CO).
Support
budgeting and forecasting
activities, ensuring data integrity within SAP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A, Operations) to ensure smooth financial processes.
Support
internal and external audits
by preparing and providing relevant SAP-based documentation.
Maintain compliance with
GAAP/IFRS and company accounting policies
.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy using SAP tools.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum
5-8 years
of progressive accounting experience, with at least
