Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our accounting team.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities in this role will be to:
- Perform various GL month-end close activities including preparation of journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Record journal entries for bi-weekly payroll cycles
- Responsible for the preparation of all accruals related to variable compensation
- Prepare various monthly accruals related to legal fees, contractors and professional services
- Maintain Deferred Commission roll-forward schedules
- Prepare monthly P&L fluctuation analyses
- Assist in preparing internal financial reporting schedules
- Inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting.
- Update cash actuals and forecasts file
- Assist with year- end audits
- Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.
Responsibilities
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with solid working knowledge of US GAAP.
- CA/CMA or related professional qualifications will be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
- NetSuite experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail oriented, with excellent organization and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work with team members in different time zones as needed, particularly during month-end close.
- Familiarity with the operations and related accounting for payroll, benefits, bonuses, and commissions.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality of employee compensation data.
- Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills, and stay relevant to business demands.
- Ability to execute, follow-up, and ensure attention to detail
