Job Title:

Sr.Accountant

Reports To

: Partner

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Monitor and analyze costs related to tea production, packaging, and logistics.

Calculate and update cost of goods sold (COGS) for different products.

Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, GST, excise, and income tax.

Maintain records to ensure compliance with audit requirements and government regulations.

Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records.

Track fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditures.

Establish and enforce internal controls to protect the company's assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments.

Manage bank accounts, reconcile statements, and oversee cash flow management

Handle payments to vendors and collections from customers.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software - Tally-Prime, Microsoft Excel.

Salary Range

: Rs. 30,000- Rs. 35,000 /per month.
