Hammer and Nail is a growing company committed to operational excellence, financial discipline, and sustainable growth. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to lead our accounting functions, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial decision-making.

Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with management to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, income tax, audits, etc.) Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities Monitor internal controls and improve accounting processes Oversee payroll processing and employee reimbursements Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis Guide and mentor junior accounts staff

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems, etc.) Advanced MS Excel skills High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing / construction / project-based companies Hands-on experience with audits and statutory filings Leadership or team management experience
