We at Renuka Consultants are looking at senior accountant and financial controller for this position.

Senior Accountant & Financial Controller

We are looking to hire an experienced financial controller to join our company. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the accounts and finances of various business operation functions by creating detailed budgets, overseeing supplier contracts, evaluating production costs, and verifying invoice statements.

To ensure success as financial controller, the incumbent should display excellent business acumen and the ability to minimize production costs through efficient accounting. The incumbent should be an analytical and detail-oriented individual with a high level of financial accuracy.

Construction Accountant Responsibilities:

1. Performing accounting duties throughout the project, such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders.

2. Develop and implement accounting systems and teams for proper functioning of book keeping and statutory compliances.

3. Analyzing all transactions and working unforeseen costs into the budget.

4. Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes.

5. Preparing cost analyses by interpreting projects' financial data and information.

6. Reporting any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to management for review.

7. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

8. Keeping abreast with both the construction and accounting industry.

9. Collaborating with the project manager to develop a detailed, cost-effective budget for the project (Project Cost center Management).

Construction Accountant Requirements:

1. A Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Preferable CA, ICWA.

2. A certification in construction accounting is preferred.

3. A minimum of 3 years' experience in private or public accounting.

4. Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures.

5. Familiarity with accounting software, such as tally and other operating software.

6. Working knowledge of the construction industry.

7. Solid analytical and mathematical skills.

8. Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

9. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

10. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
