Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage end-to-end project accounting for construction projects. The role involves budgeting, cost control, cash flow management, and preparation of financial reports while ensuring compliance with construction-specific accounting standards. The candidate will work closely with project managers and senior management to monitor costs and support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project-wise accounting, budgeting, and cost control Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Monitor cash flow and fund utilization for construction projects Reconcile bank, vendor, and project accounts Handle vendor bills, payments, and statutory deductions Conduct job cost analysis and report cost variances Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations Coordinate with project managers for expense tracking and forecasting Support audits and provide financial data to senior management

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience Required

Minimum

3+ years

of accounting experience

Construction / Builders / Developers industry experience preferred

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control Experience with Tally / ERP systems Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance Strong analytical and reporting skills Ability to work independently at project sites

Candidate Preference
