Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



GST Compliance:

Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns. Ensure compliance with GST laws, including input tax credit reconciliation and GST filing. Prepare and maintain GST-related documentation. Review invoices for GST applicability and resolve discrepancies.

Income Tax:

Prepare income tax returns for the company and employees. Maintain tax records, ensuring all deadlines are met. Ensure compliance with income tax laws and file TDS returns. Assist in handling income tax audits and assessments.

Import and Export Transactions:

Manage and reconcile import/export documentation (Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, etc.). Coordinate with banks for payment of import/export transactions. Handle export benefits like duty drawback, MEIS, etc. Ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Invoicing:

Generate invoices accurately and on time. Review and process vendor and customer invoices. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements for invoicing, including GST. Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up on unpaid invoices.

E-Way Bill & Delivery Challan:

Generate and manage E-Way bills for transportation of goods. Prepare delivery challans and track inventory movement. Ensure compliance with E-Way Bill requirements.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Process vendor payments and manage collections from customers. Handle bank reconciliations.

General Accounting:

Maintain accurate and timely financial records. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports. Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts. Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and accruals.

Audit and Compliance:

Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and clarifications. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies. Keep updated on changes in tax laws and accounting regulations.

Other Accounts Related Activities:

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor cash flow and fund management. Collaborate with the finance team for cost control measures. Support any other accounting and finance-related tasks as required by management.
