Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Academic Counselor to guide students in making informed academic and career decisions. The role involves managing student counseling, driving admissions, mentoring junior counselors, and ensuring a high level of student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents on academic programs, courses, and career paths
Handle high-quality student leads and convert inquiries into admissions
Manage end-to-end admission processes and documentation
Mentor and support junior academic counselors
Maintain accurate student data, follow-ups, and reporting
Coordinate with the academic, marketing, and operations teams
Achieve individual and team counseling targets
Handle escalated student concerns professionally
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or education sales
Excellent communication, counseling, and negotiation skills
Strong student-handling and relationship management abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills
Experience in school/college/coaching institute admissions
Leadership or team-handling experience
Knowledge of competitive exams or professional courses
