Key Responsibilities
Lead and guide the counseling team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment targets.
Conduct counseling sessions with prospective students/parents/clients to explain educational programs, benefits, and career outcomes.
Manage end-to-end admission processes -- from lead generation to conversion.
Plan and execute effective calling and follow-up strategies to maximize conversions.
Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and follow-ups in CRM tools.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to optimize campaign outcomes.
Handle escalated queries and objections professionally and ensure timely resolutions.
Track team performance and provide regular updates and reports to management.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and student preferences to enhance counseling effectiveness.
Contribute ideas to improve student engagement and overall counseling efficiency.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Academic Counselor or in a similar role within the education industry.
Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle high call volumes and maintain consistent performance.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Personality:
Smart, confident, target-driven, and capable of mentoring a team.
