Key Responsibilities
Installation: Setting up new AC units and ductwork.
Maintenance: Performing routine checks, cleaning coils and filters, lubricating parts, and servicing equipment.
Repair: Diagnosing issues, troubleshooting electrical/refrigerant problems, and replacing components like compressors, motors, and thermostats.
Customer Service: Explaining issues, providing repair estimates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Record Keeping: Documenting service calls, repairs, and maintenance history.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to industry safety standards and regulations, including EPA certifications.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, HVAC principles, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to clients
Physical Ability: Stamina for physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment.
Certifications: EPA 608 certification often required.
