Position Summary Purpose Create artwork, product visualizations, animations, and audio-video edits based on Concepts/Technical specifications catering to marketing and training needs. Should respect existing corporate identity guidelines and style guides. Work independently as well as mentor others. Duties & Responsibilities Functions ESSENTIAL Research, gather and study relevant project information. Understand deliverable requirements Create storyboards depicting the script and narrative Prepare estimates and make schedules Execute complex design projects from start to delivery, take creative calls Work in a team and participate in all aspects of planning and production of animation, including project control such as cost control, scheduling and conducting reviews and risk assessments Navigate ambiguous projects through research and consultation with SMEs Create sketches, artwork or illustrations as required Create optimized models of the environment, products, and props with an eye for details Create high-quality animations with a good understanding of Animation principles Create graphics, animations, and videos for training and marketing Proactively create, maintain end effectively use library elements Review concept sketches, artworks, models, and animations created by junior artist Adhere to process and make sure deliverables are quality checked before delivery Ensure deliveries are with the required quality and within schedule Ensure branding guidelines and templates are followed Communicate regular progress updates to customers and team management Participate in regular teleconference meetings with colleagues in US and other locations Receive and implement feedbacks in the right spirit Monitor & record performance/health parameters related to project assigned, take corrective actions in case of any anomaly observed, define/implement preventive action plans Identify and use tools and software that can reduce recurring costs and increase efficiency and quality Demonstrate a high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals Demonstrate high-level proficiency in one or more product/technical areas Provide technical guidance on areas of expertise to other team members, act as an SME Lead/guide/mentor a team on a specific task/project Stay abreast of industry trends and norms NON-ESSENTIAL Perform additional administrative /technical jobs as assigned Be open to travel as per business needs Contribute to improving existing processes Safety Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment. Other Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities Reporting Relationship Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor degree or equivalent level of competence in fine arts/Multimedia Discipline Minimum four years of relevant production experience Expert level user of 3dsmax, VRay, Phoenix FD, Photoshop, and After Effects Excellent understanding of poly modeling techniques and principles of animation Excellent knowledge of texturing and lighting Good knowledge of additional plugins for 3dsmax and After Effects DESIRED Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Good knowledge of emerging technologies like VR/AR/MR Good knowledge of game engines like Unity3d/ Unreal Engine Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Self-motivation, confidence, and passion Excellent teamwork & interpersonal skills Disciplined documentation and record keeping skills Flexibility and adaptability under adverse conditions Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness Ensure regular, consistent, and appropriate communication within the area of responsibility Innovation mindset and Creative intelligence Excellent mentoring abilities Additional Information Working Conditions This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
