Overview

We are seeking a

talented and passionate 2D Artist

to join our creative team at

ChicMic Studios

. The ideal candidate will bring strong artistic skills, creativity, and a keen eye for detail to produce visually stunning

2D assets for games, apps, and digital media

. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and animators to ensure cohesive and high-quality visual storytelling across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Create

2D characters, environments, backgrounds, props, and user interfaces

. Develop

concept sketches, illustrations, and storyboards

based on project requirements. Work closely with developers, designers, and animators to ensure cohesive art integration. Optimize and prepare

art assets for multiple platforms

(mobile, web, and desktop). Maintain and develop

visual style guides

to ensure consistency across all project assets. Implement feedback from clients and team members to refine and enhance artwork. Contribute to

frame-by-frame animations

for characters, objects, and visual effects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or related field

. Proven experience in

2D art and animation

, preferably in the gaming or app industry. Strong proficiency in

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma

, and other relevant design tools. Familiarity with

AI image generation tools

(MidJourney, Leonardo.AI, Stable Diffusion). Knowledge of

UI/UX design principles

specific to game design. Experience with

frame-by-frame animation workflows

. Strong portfolio showcasing

2D art, animation, and concept work

. Excellent

creative vision, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

. Strong

collaboration and communication abilities

within cross-functional teams. Familiarity with

3D art software

(Blender, ZBrush, Maya) will be a plus.
