A SQL Power BI specialist is required to work for a leading provider of business collaboration solutions. The Power BI Specialist will design, build and deploy business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop operational reports such as dealing and financial system extracts
Develop automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools
Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications
Skills, knowledge and experience:
Must have strong experience utilizing tools and systems on the MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS, and TSQL, PowerBI, Power Query, MDX and DAX.
Ability to quickly stage & shape data from data sources into reporting and analytics solutions
Ability to create functional financial reporting
Good understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design, multidimensional database design
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to tell compelling stories through data, has experience working with customers and executives
Strong business acumen, able to take business requirements and implement data-driven solutions
