Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database components.
• Translate complex business requirements into effective database designs and analytical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and enhance query performance for seamless database functionality.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and maintain data models and ETL processes.
• Uphold the integrity, security, and accessibility of data systems.
• Document database architecture and processes for operational efficiency.
• Analyze extensive datasets to unearth meaningful trends and insights.
• Keep abreast of the latest SQL technologies and analytical tools.
• Play an active role in implementing data governance frameworks while promoting diversity and inclusion.

Requirements
Must-Have

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related domain.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development and analytics.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS.
• Proficiency in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen.

Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google BigQuery).
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
