ROLE/JOB SUMMARY:

This is predominantly Senior Engineer role work under Production System & Development, where you will work across external system interfaces like SAP, PAS, including Solution Development, Integration with Shop Floor Equipment, Automated Data Collection, writing simulation scripts using SQL language. This role will lead development platform to be relevant in current Technology (Industry 4.0). You will be part of a team by Developing, supporting and maintaining the existing MES system interface to external application like SAP, PAS and in house developed applications, perform troubleshooting and bug fix on software issue and Provide updates to user, follow up and advise where applicable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Design and implement relational database structures for optimal performance.

Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

Ensure database security, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

Perform indexing, query tuning, and database optimization.

Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Work with developers to integrate SQL databases with applications.

Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.

Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple environments.

Automated database maintenance tasks using scripts.

Stay updated with SQL best practices and database technologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Technical/ Professional: Technical Degree E.g. Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent Technical Knowledge: SQL Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and understanding different SQL dialects (e.g., T-SQL,PL/SQL). Database Management Systems (DBMS): Familiarity with popular relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or others. Database Design and Modelling: Understanding of database architecture, normalization, and designing efficient databaseschemas. Data Analysis and Manipulation: Ability to extract, transform, andload (ETL) data, perform data analysis, and present findings. Troubleshooting and Optimization: Skills in identifying and resolving database issues, optimizing query performance, andensuring data integrity. Programming Languages (Optional but Recommended): Knowledge of a programming language like Python, Java, or C#can be beneficial for integrating databases with applications.

Work experience:

Minimum 4-5 years' working experience in any IT Systems or Manufacturing organization as SQL developers

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
