Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases, stored procedures, triggers, and data pipelines that power the ERP and BI systems. Ensures data integrity, performance optimization, and seamless integration across manufacturing modules.

Daily Activities
Monitor database health and query performance.
Execute and verify scheduled data backups.
Troubleshoot ERP-related data issues.
Weekly Activities
Review and optimize slow queries.
Validate data integrity across modules.
Fortnightly Activities
Update stored procedures and triggers as per ERP changes.
Conduct performance benchmarking.
Monthly Activities
Implement indexing strategies for large tables.
Share performance improvement report with ERP Manager.
Quarterly Activities
Perform database capacity planning.
Test disaster recovery and failover mechanisms.
Annual Activities
Upgrade database version and optimize schema.
Review overall database architecture and suggest improvements.
Operational Responsibilities
Maintain all ERP-related databases.
Write efficient SQL queries and procedures.
Ensure proper user access control and security measures.
Strategic Responsibilities
Develop data automation scripts to reduce manual intervention.
Recommend improvements for scalability and high availability.
Support BI and analytics team with optimized data structures.
Competencies & Skills
Functional:
Proficiency in SQL Server
Strong understanding of data modelling and normalization.
Experience with ERP database structures and manufacturing data.
