Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

SQL Developer

to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases and related processes. This project focuses on enhancing our data infrastructure and ensuring data integrity and performance for a critical business application.

Responsibilities

Design and Development

: Develop and maintain efficient and scalable database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Performance Tuning

: Analyze and optimize complex queries and database performance to improve efficiency and reduce latency.

Data Integration

: Create and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar tools to ensure seamless data flow.

Troubleshooting

: Identify and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, data discrepancies, and system errors.

Collaboration

: Work closely with business analysts and software developers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.

Documentation

: Maintain clear and concise documentation for all database processes, schemas, and procedures.
Qualifications

Experience

: Minimum of

4 years

of professional experience as a SQL Developer.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in

Transact-SQL (T-SQL)

or other SQL dialects. Strong experience with

SQL Server

database administration and development. Hands-on experience with

performance tuning

and query optimization. Familiarity with

ETL processes

and tools like SSIS. Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.

Soft Skills

: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
