The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the database systems in our solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Develop installation, configuration, and maintenance procedures for MySql database systems Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance Manage database security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures Develop procedure to perform backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability Troubleshoot and resolve database issues Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to ensure database systems meet business requirements Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures Stay current with MySql and Oracle database technology advancements and make recommendations for improvements Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of experience as a MySql DBA In-depth knowledge of MySql database architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance Proficient in SQL and database programming techniques.
