Job Title:

MY SQL Database Administrator

Location:

Kolkata (near Green Line - Mahakaran Metro Station)

Required Qualifications

Minimum

1+ years of experience

as a MySQL DBA in a production environment. Proficiency in

MySQL administration

(configuration, tuning, replication, upgrades). Hands-on experience with

Percona Server for MySQL

. Strong knowledge of

Ubuntu/Linux server administration

. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g.,

Percona Monitoring and Management, Nagios, Zabbix

). Strong

scripting skills

(Bash, Python) for automation. Solid understanding of

database security and user management

.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, monitor, and maintain

MySQL databases

in a high-availability environment. Design and implement

MySQL replication

(master-slave, master-master, GTID-based). Perform

database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning

. Optimise

database performance

and improve

query efficiency

. Troubleshoot database-related issues and implement corrective measures. Collaborate with

DevOps and development teams

for application deployment and scalability. Ensure

data security, integrity, and compliance

standards are met. Maintain

comprehensive documentation

for database systems and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with

containerization (Docker)

and

orchestration (Kubernetes)

. Knowledge of other database systems (

PostgreSQL, MongoDB

) is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
