Your role

Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases (2012 and above).

Perform routine database backups, restores, and recovery procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs.

Implement and maintain database security (roles, permissions, encryption).

Assist in database deployments, patching, and upgrades.

Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions (AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Replication, Clustering).

Your profile

4 - 12 years experience as SQL Database Administraton.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012-2019/2022).

Proficiency in T-SQL, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

Understanding of database backup strategies and recovery models.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Redgate, SolarWinds, SentryOne).
