Introduction: We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Developer to join our Sales IT team in Pune. As a SQL Developer the individual will play a key role in Design, development support, enhancement and build-out of strategic applications in our portfolio. As a part of the role the individual would also be responsible to technically and functionally execute the deliverables in agile fashion. This position involves hands-on database development using SQL server 2012 technologies in collaboration with our globally distributed development teams. What will you be doing?
Development (70%)

• Translates requirements into low level design and logical units of work .
• Works with the Product owner and Scrum Leads to execute the agile sprints
• Proactive test driven development and improve the test coverage and automation of unit and integration test along with the extended testing teams.
• Writes and reviews code in adherence to the well defined acceptance criteria and definition of done.
• Applies product development & engineering best practices.
• Participate in design reviews and provides feedback to the team.
• Creates and Maintains architecture, framework, technical documentation.
• Participates in team retrospective / product demo(s) and provides valuable insights and improvements for future development.
• Owns and runs with release tasks and collaborates with release management and BA/QA teams to make sure production releases are performed with high levels accuracy.

Level 3 Support (30 %)

• Assist L2 Support teams to resolve user queries and production issues

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Creating sophisticated SQL query/Stored procedures functions (SQL SERVER) to retrieve needed data from vast pool of market data sets to support new business intelligence application\xe2\x80\x99s development
• Applying hands-on/technical experience of data engineering concepts including ETL -SSIS, SQL SERVER,data cleansing and transformation, partitioning.
• Supporting identity resolution initiatives across the Data Platform
• Strong experience with SQL scripting, query optimization, and troubleshooting and T-SQL

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge or Experience creating API endpoints to serve data to other applications
• Knowledge or experience of machine learning models
