About The Job:

• Seeking a Network security validation engineer who has worked on Linux and/or embedded systems Networking and Firewall technologies.
• The position is responsible for validating network security threats and firewall features.

Qualifications:

• 6 - 10 years of overall software testing experience with 5+ years in Networking and Hardware based Firewall validation for Linux or any RTOS.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong PCIe NIC background to design optimal Rx/Tx data transfer over PCIe,
• Good experience with one or more of fast path implementations - DPDK, eBPF, XDP
• Familiar with IPsec, DHCP, LAN, routing protocols.
• Good understanding of Network security threats (DoS / DDoS, MIM attacks), TPM
• Control and Data Path implementation of Firewall using iptables including offload of Firewall functionality.
• Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP stack, and common attack vectors used to exploit firewall vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies, including stateful inspection, packet filtering, application layer filtering, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS), CASB and DLP.
