Job Title: SPSS Trainer

Position Overview

The SPSS Trainer is responsible for delivering structured, high-quality training in IBM SPSS Statistics to students, researchers, and professionals. The role focuses on building participants' competence in statistical analysis, data management, and interpretation of results for academic, research, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and deliver professional SPSS training programs at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels Instruct participants on statistical methods including descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, multivariate analysis, and non-parametric techniques Provide hands-on, practical training using real-world datasets and case studies Guide learners in data preparation, coding, cleaning, and validation within SPSS Support research projects, theses, dissertations, and organizational data analysis using SPSS Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, manuals, presentations, and exercises Assess learner progress and provide constructive, professional feedback Customize training content to meet the specific needs of academic, research, or corporate clients Stay current with updates to SPSS software, statistical best practices, and emerging analytical methodologies
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, or a related quantitative field Demonstrated expertise in IBM SPSS Statistics Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and research methodologies Proven experience in training, teaching, or instructional delivery is preferred Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts clearly and professionally
Skills and Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Professional presentation and facilitation skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to adapt training methods to diverse learning needs
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative or research-focused discipline Experience working with postgraduate researchers or corporate professionals Familiarity with additional statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SAS)
