Operate spreading machines to lay out fabric rolls according to specifications provided by the Production department.
Ensure proper alignment and layering of fabric rolls to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency.
Monitor machine operation to detect defects or deviations from standards and make adjustments as necessary.
Inspect fabric rolls for quality and consistency before spreading begins.
Collaborate with the cutting team to prioritize orders and ensure timely completion of fabric preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and machines.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform routine maintenance on spreading machines as needed.
Report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
