Job Summary

The Spray Painter will be responsible for preparing and applying high-quality paint finishes to pump components, ensuring compliance with company standards for appearance, durability, and corrosion resistance. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and experience in industrial spray-painting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers. Operate spray-painting equipment (air spray, airless spray, etc.) to coat pump parts and assemblies. Mix and match paint shades according to required color codes and specifications. Ensure uniform coating thickness and smooth finishes on metal surfaces. Inspect painted products for quality and correct defects when necessary. Maintain all painting tools and spray equipment in good condition. Follow all safety rules, including use of PPE and proper paint disposal procedures. Record paint usage, job details, and maintain daily production logs.

Qualifications and Skills

ITI / Diploma in Painter Trade or relevant technical qualification. Minimum 1-4 years of experience in industrial or equipment painting (preferably pumps, motors, or heavy machinery). Knowledge of surface preparation methods, epoxy paints, enamel, and powder coating processes. Understanding of safety standards related to paint materials and handling. Ability to interpret work orders and technical drawings.

Working Conditions

Factory/shop-floor environment with use of protective gear. May require standing for long periods and handling of spray gun equipment.

Salary Range

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
