As our business grows, so does the complexity of our operations. We are seeking an APMEA Transport Trade Logistics Procurement Support / Spot Tender Specialist to join our team and help us manage the increasing spot sourcing activities across heavy lift, general cargo, and parcel orders. This role is essential to ensuring smooth processes, timely execution of spot sourcing activities and collaboration with local & global suppliers, data management, reporting.
We are offering a fixed term contract of 6 months,
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the Spot Sourcing process for Air, Ocean, Road, Heavy lift and other logistics categories ensuring compliance with company policies, as the main responsibilities of the position.
Maintain and update vendor databases, trackers, including pricing agreements and performance records.
Collects and archives documentation regarding the spot quotation offers and records assumptions and decisions taken during the development process. Regularly reports the status of the bids/estimates/ quotations using defined tools.
Actively participate to Supplier periodical meetings and communicate with vendors regularly for their performance of spot quotations and collects and analyses the reasons. Provides action plans to related stakeholders and executes the improvement activities in line with the action plans.
Provide research and analyses of the root cause of Spot quotation activities. Creates plans for decreasing the amount and process improvements of Spot quotation activities.
Support supplier research and evaluation to strengthen procurement decisions.
Maintain accurate records and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Your background:
Strong written and verbal communication in skills required to manage a multitude of internal and external customers and partners.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics Management, International Economics, Business or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Very good understanding of Heavy lift sourcing activities.
Very good understanding of India Logistics market especially FTL, LTL General cargo trucking transportation and Global Sea and Air transportation.
3-5 years of experience in procurement and logistics.
Knowledge of transport methods, rules and regulations, costs, and benefits.
Experience with sourcing and benchmarking tools. Advanced desktop computer skills including PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Outlook are required.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Drive to find solutions to complex logistics problems. Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment.
Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication in skills required to manage a multitude of internal and external customers and partners.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP TM, SAP ARIBA) is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
