Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (

B.P.Ed

) or equivalent from a recognized university. Master's Degree (

M.P.Ed

) will be an added advantage.

Experience Required:

Minimum

1 to 3 years

of experience in teaching or coaching in a reputed ICSE/CBSE school. Freshers with excellent sports skills and teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Job Summary:

The Sports Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging physical education sessions and co-curricular sports activities that foster fitness, discipline, and teamwork among students. The role also involves training students for inter-house and inter-school competitions while ensuring a safe and inclusive sports environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement age-appropriate physical education programs for all grades as per ICSE guidelines. Conduct daily sports periods, warm-up exercises, and structured physical training sessions. Identify students' talents and coach them for inter-house and inter-school tournaments. Organize annual sports events, fitness drives, and other co-curricular physical activities. Maintain and ensure the safety of all sports equipment and playground facilities. Encourage sportsmanship, discipline, and healthy competition among students. Keep records of student participation, performance, and achievements in sports. Coordinate with academic and activity departments to integrate physical education with the holistic development program. Guide students on nutrition, fitness, and overall physical well-being. Ensure safety protocols and first-aid preparedness during all sports activities.

Work Schedule:

As per school academic calendar and working hours. May include weekends or extended hours during tournaments or special events.

Remuneration:

As per institutional norms and candidate's experience.
