The Sports Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting sports and physical education activities for students. The role focuses on promoting fitness, teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among students through structured games, exercises, and competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education sessions and sports activities.
Develop students' physical abilities, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills.
Organize inter-house and inter-school sports events and competitions.
Identify and train students with exceptional athletic potential.
Maintain sports equipment and ensure safety during all physical activities.
Encourage participation in sports and wellness programs for overall student development.
Prepare practice schedules and maintain attendance and performance records.
Collaborate with teachers and school management for sports day and other school events.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed or equivalent qualification.
Prior Experience in teaching or coaching in a school or sports academy.
First aid knowledge (preferred).
Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness training, and physical health.
