Job Description

A Sports Teacher, also known as a Physical Education (PE) teacher, is responsible for planning and delivering lesson plans on physical education and sport-related subjects to students of various ages. They teach students about physical fitness, different sports, and healthy lifestyles. Additionally, they may coach and oversee extracurricular sports teams and assess student performance. Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Teaching:

Developing and implementing age-appropriate physical education curriculums, creating engaging lesson plans, and instructing students in various physical activities, sports, and fitness exercises.

Student Guidance and Assessment:

Motivating students to be physically active, helping them set and achieve physical health goals, and assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback.

Safety and Supervision:

Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for physical activities, monitoring students during recess, lunch, and activities, and maintaining equipment.

Coaching and Extracurricular Activities:

Coaching sports teams, organizing and supervising extracurricular sports and fitness programs, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress, collaborating with other teachers and school staff to coordinate physical education efforts, and participating in professional development.

Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle:

Educating students about healthy lifestyle choices and promoting positive attitudes towards physical fitness.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?23,000.00 per month
