We are currently seeking a

qualified Sports Psychologist

who is passionate about working with children and adolescents and can engage both students and parents in the long-term value of sports participation.

Role Overview



The Sports Psychologist will play a pivotal role in supporting student-athletes across all sports disciplines by enhancing their mental well-being, performance, and personal development. This role also involves working closely with parents to help them understand the long-term benefits of sports participation, encouraging sustained engagement and retention in the academy.

Job Responsibilities



1. Mental Performance & Athlete Development



Conduct one-on-one and group sessions with student-athletes to build mental skills (focus, confidence, motivation, resilience). Develop and deliver age-appropriate mental conditioning programs. Support athletes in coping with competition stress, performance anxiety, and balancing academics with sports.

2. Parent Engagement & Education



Educate parents on the psychological benefits of regular sports participation for children, including discipline, teamwork, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. Organize parent seminars and workshops to address concerns and promote long-term commitment to sports programs. Act as a liaison between coaching staff and families to ensure a holistic support system for the child.

3. Athlete Retention & Long-Term Growth



Identify mental roadblocks that may lead to student dropouts and implement early intervention strategies. Develop individual progress reports for student-athletes to share achievements and development areas with parents. Work with coaches to design inclusive, confidence-building environments to keep students engaged and motivated.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration



Collaborate with coaches, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and educators to create comprehensive athlete development plans. Support in talent identification and development strategies from a psychological standpoint.

Key Qualifications



Master's in Sports Psychology or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with children or adolescents in a sports or educational setting. Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents and non-specialist audiences. Passion for sports and belief in its power to shape young lives
