Job Summary

The Sports Master is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the college's sports and physical activity programs. The role focuses on promoting student participation, developing athletic skills, organizing competitions, and ensuring safe and inclusive sports activities aligned with the college's educational goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesSports Program Management

Plan and conduct regular sports and physical training sessions for students Organize intramural and intercollegiate sports events, tournaments, and meets Identify and nurture athletic talent among students
Coaching & Student Development

Coach college teams and individual athletes in assigned sports Provide guidance on fitness, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship Prepare teams for competitions and events
Administration & Coordination

Maintain sports schedules, records, and performance data Coordinate with college administration, faculty, and external sports bodies Assist in budgeting, procurement, and inventory of sports equipment
Facilities & Equipment

Ensure proper use, safety, and maintenance of sports grounds, courts, and equipment Implement safety standards and emergency procedures during activities
Compliance & Representation

Ensure compliance with college policies and relevant sports authorities Represent the college at sports meetings, events, and associations
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field Proven experience in coaching or sports instruction Strong knowledge of rules, techniques, and training methods of multiple sports
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or professional diploma in Physical Education Coaching certifications from recognized sports federations Experience in college or higher education settings
