We have a requirement for Sports HOD position with Taekwondo specialization in pallavi International School, bachupally.

The Head of Physical Education and Sports will be responsible for

Developing and leading a whole school PE curriculum and its delivery and implementation for students across the age range of 3?18 years, along with outstanding extracurricular provision. Managing the Sports Hall and other sports facilities. Leading and working collaboratively with a large team of specialists, coaches and trainers to build on a strong programme of fitness, physical education & sports. Design, implement and effectively communicate an age appropriate programme of Physical Education, fitness and health for students from ages 3 to 18. Build upon the existing provision for Cambridge Physical Education and Sports Science, raising the academic profile in the school community. Provide inspirational and dynamic leadership in effective pedagogy for high quality Physical Education. To act as a professional role model for all colleagues, but particularly those working within the curriculum team, through highly competent and effective classroom teaching. To provide leadership for a team of coaches, PE teachers involving the provision of continuous professional development and training as appropriate, in updating knowledge, and skills, to ensure that the curriculum is effectively and efficiently taught by all members of the team. To represent the Physical Education department in SSLT meeting as part of the Middle Leaders forum in the school. Sports Enrichment Programme . Provide inspirational and dynamic leadership to build an effective team of teachers and coaches throughout a season based sports programme. Develop a whole school and community sports programme and manage the sports facilities to make optimal use of school facilities for stakeholders. To promote the work of the school's PE department in the local, national and international communities through forging and developing links, tournaments and competitions, as well as working with colleagues to establish membership of appropriate organisations e.gsport tours. Enhance programmes to provide competitive and non - competitive sporting opportunities for all students. To ensure support, encouragement and a high quality of coaching of individual sports and those sports not offered at the school.

Experience :

Minimum 7 years of teaching and leadership experience.

Qualification/skills

M.Ped is mandatory 5 years+ teaching experience. 4 years+ of leadership experience. Experience in an international school setting would be an added advantage.
