Key Responsibilities
Physical Education:
Plan and conduct daily PE classes, focusing on physical fitness, flexibility, and fundamental movement skills.
Sports Coaching:
Train students in various outdoor and indoor sports such as Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics, and Kho-Kho.
Drill & Discipline:
Organize morning assemblies, march pasts, and maintain overall campus discipline.
Event Management:
Lead the planning and execution of the Annual Sports Day, Inter-School competitions, and regional tournaments.
Equipment Management:
Maintain an inventory of sports goods and ensure the playground/courts are safe and well-maintained.
Health & Safety:
Educate students on health, nutrition, and injury prevention during physical activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Degree or Diploma in Physical Education (
B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. / D.P.Ed.
).
Experience:
Prior experience as a PTI in a school setting is preferred.
Specialization:
Expertise in at least two major sports or Yoga is a plus.
Attributes:
Strong leadership qualities, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to motivate students of all age groups.
